Edmonton ’s cross country ski community has lost a much-loved member and friend. Roger Tetrault passed away Thursday night after a long battle with cancer.

Roger co-founded Fast Trax Run & Ski Shop and, in doing so, helped develop the vibrant skiing community we now enjoy in Edmonton. In Roger’s mind, the people who came to the shop were more than just customers – they were fellow skiers, and that made them friends. So, no matter if they were young racers or just folks hoping to go out for a Sunday tour, Roger helped inspire them to ski like they had never skied before. He was passionate about life, and he was passionate about sport.

The funeral will take place Saturday, February the 6th at 10:30 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 14323 107 Avenue, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers they ask instead for donations to the Cross Cancer Institute or the Melanoma society.
