Rain in the Forecast! Fall Colours Run?

A little rain never hurt anyone but a lot of it can make the course slippery and less safe for the participants. The forecast is for 15-20mm of rain on Friday and Saturday with the rain starting Friday evening and going through the night and all day Saturday. If this comes to fruition the plan is to postpone the Run and revert to regular training instead.

At this point the Run is on, BUT only if the rain holds off and the ground is not saturated. We will make the call in the morning. However, know the Fall Colours Run will be postponed if the forecast holds true; that is, rain all night.

In the event we postpone, the new date for the Fall Colours Run will be in one week: next Saturday October 8. And as such regular training will then take place this Saturday Oct 1 (tomorrow).

Stay tuned!

More Active ENSC Skiers on the Weekend!

The Fall-IN Camp was this weekend and as you can see some interesting twists on team meetings and training.

A “dessert” created by Will with assistance from Daniel…gummies infused into gently toasted thick sliced bread. A taste experience of unequalled proportions, especially when dipped into a bowl of Red Bull teaming with well marinated dummies. Heather can attest to this! 🙂

SK relays with part of the course being run, yes run, across the grass!!

Your Orange Race Suits…

Calling all clean ski suits!

If you own a current Mt. Borah orange ski suit, could you please bring it to the AGM to assist in sizing for new suit orders. Mt. Borah no longer offers sizing kits, so we need our members to supply sample sizes.

The new suits will fit the same as the old ones so if we have a good variety of samples for people to try then they will be able to get the right size!! But remember to put your names in the suit…on a label or side collar is suggested. Below is a picture of the new suit.
