| Coaches and Support |
In addition to our Head Coach Les Parsons, coaching for this program is by certified coaches, parents or University age skiers. Coaches are either working on or have acquired the NCC Introduction to Community Coaching Certification as a minimum standard. |
| Equipment Requirements |
We recommend that all Youth have both classic and skate skis. Specific classic and skate poles are required – the boots can be combi boots. Ski walking poles.

| Program Contribution |
Parents are expected to contribute to the season's activities. These contributions can include:
- Coaching – work toward community coaching certification and higher
- Photographers and videographers
- Safety – taking care of those who may be cold, etc.
- Special events organization – program and social events
- Racing event support –a large volunteer effort is required
- Waxing team support –learn how to wax with experts

The focus of this group is to continue developing the overall fitness and ski specific skills of youth age 14-18 who have completed the Track Attack program or similar. The coaches will organize a workout and provide technique coaching.
For the most part, athletes will receive a good work out and learn some new drills to help improve your skiing. This group will work on both classic and skate technique. The training emphasizes fitness, endurance and skill levels enabling athletes to compete at Regional races, Loppets and distance events.
