Teaching & Coaching Clinics

These coaching clinics are specifically for our volunteer Jackrabbit Leaders, Jackrabbit Parent Helpers, Lynx Coaches, Adult Lesson Instructors and Ski Team Coaches for your development as a coach.  + plus any adults or parents who would like to learn to lead our Jackrabbits; be a parent helper for Jackrabbits; lead ski tours or develop their skills to help coach our team in the future!  These clinics are FREE of charge!  FREE leadership training for all volunteers is one of the incentives for parents to volunteer to lead and coach our ski programs. 

Our goals are to improve your personal ski technique; focus on our progression of teaching proper technique fundamentals; and bring together our coaching team to share our variety of coaching drills and exercises from our bag of tricks.   ....and have some FUN as we continue to build our leadership team of coaches.  We are offering these clinics to any adults who are interested in joining our team of leaders, instructors and coaches.  No registration required...just show up ready to learn.

Note: you are always welcome to come to our regular practices and join our coaches to "shadow coach" alongside of us during our ski team workouts:  Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:30am-11:00am.  For our practice schedule, see http://www.coachles.blogspot.com/. 

***Hakon...our "StarSecret Weapon Norwegian Guest Coach"...is visiting Canada for a few days next week, so please note where I put ***stars in the schedule below, indicating when Hakon will be coaching with us.  "If" we have snow, encourage all leaders to make an extra effort to join us and learn from Hakon. 

***November 11th, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, is a really important clinic date.  Join us for Hakon's special "Coaches & Leaders Ski Technique Teaching & Coaching Clinic!"  All of our race team coaches must attend this clinic, and we encourage all of your leaders to join us also.
