Emily Lynes

Emily coaches the Adult Development Group for ENSC. Emily is a lifelong cross-country skier who made a brief foray into racing as a teenager and now focuses on participating in local loppets and sharing her love of skiing with others. Her favourite place to ski so far is probably the Holmenkollen trails in Oslo, or Hinterzarten in Germany, or Davos, or maybe her old ski club, Nakkertok. Emily will pretty much ski anywhere and with anyone, even her husband Aaron although he refuses to take her technique advice. Her favourite après-ski food is Erbsensuppe (German pea soup with sausage) and her favourite après-ski activity is sleeping. When Emily is not skiing, she attends NAIT where she is retraining for a second career as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. She spends the rest of her time reading, knitting, playing with her cat and catching up with her family in Ontario, and has been known to ride a cross bike and run and swim, provided that there is no snow available.
