Training This Week: March 4 to March 10

Week #25 of Fall/Winter Program

NOTE: We are cancelling ALL TRAINING for TA and up for this coming Saturday. This is so we can support the BIATHLON Calforex Cup races hosted by ENSC this coming Saturday and Sunday. This is a Club event and we need volunteers to make this event a success. Please consider volunteering if you are not planning on attending either the Tawatinaw Loppet or the Jasper Loppet. Monday March 4:

  • Strength Training at Performance 104
    • 6:30 to 7:30 at Propel Studio
    • 7:30 to 8:30 at Propel Studio

Tuesday March 5: 

  • Who: All Programs
  • Where: Goldbar Park 
  • When: 6:30 – 8:00 pm
  • What: 
    • Training:
      • Technique: SKATE
      • Warm-Up – Include Mobility and Activation Routine
      • Coach Driven Intensity
    • Bring:
      • Skis, Drinkbelt, Change of clothes

Wednesday March 6:

  • XC – Suggested Training LSD
    • 1.5 to 2 hrs Ski  (This is Z1 , which means “conversation” pace)

Thursday March 7:

  • Who: AR, YR, and YD
  • Where: Goldbar Park 
  • When: 6:30 – 8:00 pm
  • What: 
    • Training:
      • Warm-Up Routine – Includes Mobility and Activation Routine
      • Coach Driven Strength, technique, and mobility
    • Technique: CLASSIC
    • Bring:
      • Skis (CLASSIC technique), Drinkbelt, Change of clothes

Friday March 8:

  • Recovery Day
    • Easy run/walk/ski, some core, and light stretching.

Saturday March 9:

  • Training CANCELLED. Please consider volunteering for the Calforex CUP – Biathlon Races
