Adult Learn To Train
This 22 week (12 fall and 10 winter) supportive class combines skill improvement with fitness and develops a coaching relationship to help you achieve your goals. Intended for skiers who want to improve technique and develop strong fitness levels. This class is a bridge to the Adult Train to Train program. Join others who wish to advance their skiing ability to the next level.
The course will also include dryland training, waxing, and race advice for those who wish to participate in loppets. It will include both skate and classic styles. Technique will vary depending on the snow and weather conditions so both sets of skis will be required by the first on-snow class. This group is also a steppingstone for those who wish to pursue the Adult Train to Train group. This is not for beginner skiers.
WHO:
Adults who have taken at least one or more Adult lesson classes or have a basic understanding of both classic and skate skiing.
Adults who have a reasonable fitness level.
Participants will be provided the opportunity to ski both classic and skate technique.
Athletes who wish to participate in loppets and even the Birkebiner
