U14 Development
The U14 program will continue to build on technical foundations learning how to apply technique to different terrain and in different snow conditions. With a focus on building community and commitment to cross country skiing this team will be challenged to set both personal and performance goals relating to the program.

The U14 Development program is intended for athletes born in 2013 or 2014, and have graduated from U12 Development and wish to ski in a team setting while further exploring the various aspects of cross country skiing.

Skiers are learning how to train systematically at this stage, yet the focus remains on developing ski specific skills and basic fitness. While skiing in a social and FUN environment, athletes will develop an aerobic base alongside technical skills. Training and racing programs are offered (September to March) that also include basic strength training and roller-skiing is introduced.
If your athlete wants to register in Biathlon, please see the Biathlon page
All workout, camp and racing information will be communicated through TeamSnap. You will receive an invitation to join the ENSC U14 XC Team a week before the first session on September 8th.
