U16 Development

WHO: Athletes born in 2011 and 2012 who have graduated from U14 program and have basic proficiency in both classic and skate techniques.

WHEN: September 8, 2026 to March 20, 2027 (conditions dependent)

WHERE:

Dryland locations will vary: Gold Bar Park, Gallagher Park, Kinsmen Park & other locations communicated to participants.

On snow location: Gold Bar Park, Goldstick Park, Capilano Park

Program timings, cost, and registration will be available August 1st.

EQUIPMENT:

• Skis – classic and skate skis

• Boots – classic and skate boots

• Poles – classic poles, skate poles, ski striding poles

• Headlamp

• Roller Skis and helmet – must own skate roller skis. Classic roller ski rentals available through ENSC

• Rock skis are not mandatory but can be useful for early and late season training
